The Safest Life Possible
One thing about not posting for weeks or months at a time is that the more time goes by, the harder it is to just sit down and do it. Isn't that true for so many things we put off doing? ... Well, it is for me anyway.
I saw this video the other day and couldn't help but be stirred up. It's a clip of Francis Chan, who I am not really familiar with, but apparently he's a speaker and author. This clip is laugh-out-loud funny, incredibly sobering, and worth the 3 minutes and 53 seconds. Take the time.

More on Love
I've been stuck on this topic of "Love" for awhile. It's like everywhere I turn, everything I read or listen to, in random conversation after random conversation, God is constantly whispering into my ear, "I want you to know how much I love you."
Love. It is just so vast a topic. I am a slow learner. God is patient and faithful.
I read this blog post today from Wendy Stallings, whom I have previously linked to. I just gotta pass it on....

A friend shared this blog post recently, and I now I'm passing it along. Be encouraged!

What Works Wednesday
It's Wednesday, and I'm sharing a useful tip that actually works!
I discovered this idea on pinterest, from Biggie over at Lunch In A Box. It provides the goodness of fresh and the convenience of frozen... green onions, that is.
Simply wash your green onions (you know, the ones that you forget about in the produce drawer of your fridge, then you discover dry and shriveled a week and half later because you did't use them within two days of purchase... yeah, those - but pre-shriveled). Dry them very well to avoid moisture joining the journey to the freezer. Moisture leads to freezer burn, leads to nasty, wasted green onions. Then chop 'em up and, using a funnel, pour into a clean, empty water bottle. Store in your freezer for up to three weeks. *note: frozen onions are best used in cooked dishes, rather than salads
